The National Day of Kuwait is celebrated every year on February 25th. In the context of this important date for the Gulf nation and its diplomatic representations worldwide, once again, as every year, the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Madrid joined the celebrations and held an emotional commemorative event on Thursday, February 22nd, marking the 63rd anniversary of its independence and the 33rd anniversary of its liberation from the Iraqi regime of the late Saddam Hussein.
The commemorative event took place at the Embassy headquarters in Madrid and was presided over by His Excellency Ambassador of Kuwait, Khalifa M. Alkhorafi, along with members of the diplomatic corps, accompanied by numerous guests, including some Spanish authorities, representatives from other embassies, businessmen, members of civil society, sympathizers, friends, and supporters of this nation.
Instituto Halal attended the event, represented by its CEO, Muhammad Escudero Uribe, who greeted the ambassador and highlighted the importance of Kuwait for Spanish halal product exports.
There are already numerous Spanish companies directing their exports to this country under the auspices of the halal certification issued by the Islamic Board, endorsed by the Halal Institute for meats and meat products, dairy products, processed foods, beverages, and other food products in general.
With a population close to 5 million inhabitants and an official Islamic religion, Bahrain represents a strategic market for the expansion of Spanish exports, offering significant opportunities for economic and commercial growth between both countries and serving as a gateway to other markets.
